Before the journals were printed, when copy was sent in handwritten (in most cases), when AI, the internet, and email were a distant dream found only in sci-fi novels the only way to communicate with all members was to include various informational or booking inserts with the journals. We have added these here in case they are of passing interest if only for the prices in those days!

An invitation to the high tea and only 6/6 , thats 33p to you and me
The Agenda and accounts for the 1960 AGM
In the early days you had to ask for the index separately
A letter form Fred Dunster congratulating Mr F Minto on being adjudged the best slide. The letter was tucked inside a 1960's journal but the date apppears to be 1969 on the actual letter
Advertising the club in the 1960's  with a flyer enclosed in the journal and intended for members to pass on to interested parties or leave in a visible spot
In and about Farndale Nature Reserve in North yorkshire
A note about a retirement presentation to Wilf Cooper soliciting donations to the fund
Short list of accomodation at or near Farndale, the main list being compiled but not reary in time for the issue in May '61
An RSF organised cycling holiday in Llanfairfechan - leaders places free!
Booking for the '63 annual dinner - cost? A heady 10/- or 50p if you like.....⯑
The paper form to submit a route to the RSF routes librarian - note the place to add an aproximation of how much was rideable and therefore by inference how much was 'hike a bike'
In '63 the AGM booking form doubled up with the route submission form. Note that for the AGM 'Double-rooms for married couples cannot be guaranteed, and the sexes will probably have to be split in Y.H. manner,'
