Description

This is a route I have inflicted on a group of RSF members at the 2006 Easter meet based at Tregaron. It’s one of those routes where an effort going up hill is amply rewarded with superb views in this case back towards the Cardiganshire coast and 3 miles swoop downhill to Pontrydfendigaid. Starting at Strata Florida abbey, which also is the start of the rough stuff down the Towy, despite the forestry some still quite challenging fords (in the Autumn of2008 someone in a 4x4 was killed after their vehicle turned over in these fords).
