Lake District, The Dockray Coach Road
Start: Dockray
Finish: St Johns in the Vale
A steep road climbs from the village of Dockray up to the start of the track at Red Moss.
A rideable track for its entire length, although the descent into St Johns in the Vale is quite steep and stony and may require walking.
Great views can be had across the valley towards Blencathra and Skiddaw.
This is the easiest way to do this track.
