The RSF admin team must also point out that rides designated as members rides are precisely that, rides organised by a member and advertised here in case other members may wish to join them. We also request that all members putting a ride on add their name to the RSF ride leaders list to be covered under our insurance which you can read here. Adding your name is as simple as emailing the secretary and requesting your name be added to our ride leaders list.
A ride with Eric, No not Blood Axe.

Meet on Wednesday 21st Feb, at 10.00 for a 10.15 ish, departure at/from Oldknow Road by the green at the ‘top’ of Marple Village,
Nearest Post Code is, SK6 7BX.
StreetMap Link is :- http://streetmap.co.uk/map?X=396179&Y=388743&A=Y&Z=110
Eric says that there is safe free parking on the road here, by the large triangular grassed area.
Note that if you are coming from the Glossop direction, we believe that Arkwright Road is at present closed from Brabyns Brow and so you may have to take the un-metalled St Martin’s Road (just by the canal) or much better on your suspension, Hollins Lane and then past the Fire Station.
Eric promises a gentle-ish ride via canal tow paths and old railway tracks with a little on the A6 and into Lyme Park (for coffee) and possible on to Bollington for lunch in a cafe etc. Our return will be similar and different !
Possibly 15-20 miles max depending on the weather.
Eric Daniels asked me to put this ride on the site for him as he struggles to access it !
I’ll put Eric’s phone number on here but my number and email is here as well for any questions.
However everything I know, about the ride is here.
See you there ?
Eric says he is riding anyway and he will have some company, won’t he ?
