The RSF admin team must also point out that rides designated as members rides are precisely that, rides organised by a member and advertised here in case other members may wish to join them. We also request that all members putting a ride on add their name to the RSF ride leaders list to be covered under our insurance which you can read here. Adding your name is as simple as emailing the secretary and requesting your name be added to our ride leaders list.
Reviving my birthday ride
Don't forget to let the ride leader know you're coming! Add your status at the foot of the eventWell it's not the actual day of my birthday (30th Jan) but pretty close and those of you who have been on the ride before know the route. What I will say is it's not really suitable for road bikes and is about 18 miles and definitely not flat! The weather forecast keeps changing so I'll keep an eye on that so well worth checking here to see if I cancel it. I intend to start from Curleys Cafe in Horwich at 10.30 it will be open from 10 if you want to get a brew and buy me some cake (it is my birthday). Lunch will be at Turton Tower, in the past I have dropped off a cake here for us all to enjoy but now it's under new management.
