The road is tarmac to just before the Loch Fannich dam where a rough rideable track goes to Fannich Lodge.

At the entrance to the lodge grounds follow the shoreline (not the track as indicated on the OS) the track continues saving a considerable amount of effort.

The track remains mostly rideable until you reach a derelict building offering minimal shelter at 164678 (picture)

From the shelter an ancient grassy track climbs to the summit. This is a hard push up but would be mostly ridable going the other way.

From the summit a narrow, eroded and stony path descends (steeply in places) down to a ford at 162742

There are some good places to camp on this side. It's a short ride/push to the boat house at the end of the Loch á Bhraoin where a surfaced track takes you up to the A832

From May to September there is usually a tea wagon at the Corrieshalloch Gorge on the A835 Ullapool road.

It is worth considering this route from the Braemore if there is a strong likelihood of heavy rain, so that if the ford comes soon after the start, rather than risk being cut off by floods at the end of the day.
