Black numbers: road number
Red numbers: distance in km between red dots (rather approximate)
Solid line: main road (not necessarily sealed)
Long dashes: Passable with care by any vehicle (eg, Fljótsdalsheiði)
Medium dashes: Four wheel drive only
Short dashes: High clearance special 4wd only
Grey coloured road: Not maintained (eg, Kringilsárrani)
Thin dashed lines: boundary of strict reserves - camp only at
designated sites in these areas
